Liquid collector tray procurement should define liquid load, gas-flow area, outlet interface, elevation, segmentation, support, material, and assembly requirements. Tower diameter alone is not sufficient for fabrication.

Distributor orifice diameter, outlet count, and hole arrangement directly affect hydraulic distribution. Procurement specifications should control these parameters through approved drawings, realistic tolerances, inspection, and change management.

Liquid distributor drip-point density should be defined using the active area and approved outlet layout. Total outlet count alone is not sufficient; spacing, wall coverage, flow per outlet, turndown, and fouling risk must also be considered.
